No matter how good the last article you wrote in your blog. No matter that may be of interest to all your followers on social networks. None of that matters if you can not read it entering. And how do you get someone from reading an article? The answer is easy, calling their attention with a catchy title for it.
Not only must you take into account the search for excellence in inventing a title for your posts. I wish all the readers who follow you for the RSS feed, or the same social networks had time to read all the articles they stood in front, but it is not.
The most important is that whoever decides to go see your article to read , and if only you consider the SEO, hardly get out over the others.
Before proceeding with this, keep in mind that the title you use in your articles must meet three requirements:
  • You should really explain what the article.
  • It should encourage reading.
  • Try not to exceed 60 characters.
The vast majority of blogs do not spend enough time in their articles titles, with this post I intend to give you several tips when deciding what will be the next owner to use. I hope you find them useful!

  1. Causes intriguing: if the same title explains everything you will find in your article summary form .. Why would anyone join? It's about creating excitement with the title, to imply what is without giving too much information, that if you're interested, come and see.
  2. Be creative: if you're writing about a subject that has already been written before (very likely), you must create a title different from your competition to emphasize to the same. Squeeze your wits before you decide to title your publication. Your goal should be to get something unique, not found 20 articles that, reading the title, look the same as yours. An example I used a while back would be to invent a word in the title of an article to the attention of the visitor. The article in question was  24 cruel ways to end your blog . Some time soon attracted attention.
  3. Take your time, choose the title of your article should not be a matter of 10 seconds. Look closely at the words you used and make sure that they could not be better. Being 10 minutes thinking about improving it, will never hurt you, quite the opposite.
  4. SEO Ratio - ability to surprise you: take good care which one you give priority in each article. For example, if your article is a tutorial on how to do something (say a technical way) is better focus more on the words that will help you search engine position. However, if your article is more a story, a curiosity, or simply something that can be interesting but you never would by searching the Internet, you must give priority to creativity rather than utility. For those who can be helpful in both cases, look for the perfect balance point to attract 2 types of visitors. Please note that if your intention is to position yourself in more than bsucadores attract traffic from other sites, use, depending on which words in its title, can lead to misunderstanding.
  5. Be direct: do not stalling, circling a common theme to the future reader may get bored before you finish reading the title. If you can say something in 8 words instead of 16 and still has the same meaning, use 8.
  6. From time to time, do one question : with this type of title is a double-edged sword, because, apart from that catch our attention that a simple statement, when someone has a question and want to find the solution on the internet tends to write the question in the search. Now do not abuse it as your homepage does not have to appear for questioning.
  7. Use profanity, some of these words that appeal to the masses. Of course, as in the case of creating headlines with questions, you should not spend when using plugs or similar, which can make you lose a lot of regular users to your posts. Try using these words with grace, to avoid appearing rude.
  8. Start with a number: people love lists almost as much as swear words. Typical articles: "5 ways to ..." "10 more ..." articles like more than you would expect in plain text. So, whenever the occasion permits, makes clear how many points has the list will be found.
  9. Make a standard article "How to" what in Spanish would be a tutorial style "how ....", for example, in this case, "how to choose the perfect title for your publications."
  10. Be specific and realistic, at least to me, get me very upset to read something that once I agree with little resembles what I expected. Your title can be witty, but according to reality, must be clear when to convey content, and your image can be viewed otherwise damaged. You should also be consistent with the headline you write. Do not promise anything that you will not actually deliver.
  11. Creates need: try to make the users feel that somehow needs to read your article, which identified see what you can find inside. You must, somehow, push click.
  12. Involved person: it is easier to get to read something that really happened. An example would be "How I got 1000 euros in a day" to "tips to get 1000 euros a day." The two are about the same (fictional, at least I have not succeeded ) but one that encourages you much other so that you click on it.
  13. If you want to risk, you can always try to treat a taboo subject, or to create controversy with the title, but if you are not very wary of doing so can hurt you far more than benefit.
  14. There are words that call to the success of your item more than others. One of the best you can ever use is FREE . It is the word for excellence on the Internet (and beyond). If you get something that is free and you specify in the title, the results are guaranteed.
